Biographical Sarcophagus marble fragment
The frontal relief showed episodes from the life of the deceased who is portrayed in religious devotion, military service, and marriage. The groom's face is erased; he holds a scroll in his left hand but the hand clasping his bride (dextrarum iunctio)is broken off. The Etruscan sun god Usil (?) skips over the waves (note the wings and
winged shoes), above an Ionic capital, which rests on a feline paw; one of
