Welcome to VRoma!
Since 1996, VRoma has been serving instructors, students, and scholars of the ancient world. First and foremost, we are a community of teachers and learners who share a passion for the ancient world.
The VRoma site includes resources for teaching and learning Latin and ancient Roman culture and an interactive virtual world based on ancient Rome (the MOO), all created by the VRoma community (instructors and scholars who use the MOO with their students). Are you interested in teaching and learning in our interactive environment (the "MOO")? Feel free to check out some of the teacher-created activities to get a feel for what is possible, and to browse the environment then login as a guest. Our Quick Start Guide provides guidance for fully experiencing the virtual world. For a teacher or student log-in, please submit our Contact Form and allow a few days for a reply.
