POMONA

Pomona was an ancient Italian agricultural goddess, especially associated with fruit-bearing trees. She never became identified with any of the Greek deities. Pomona had her own special priest among the ancient order of Roman priests called flamines, though her flamen was ranked lowest in the hierarchy.
